Nashville, TN - May 25, 2004 - Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems today announced that Cellular 2000 has licensed Collector Deluxe. Cellular 2000 deployed the Collector Deluxe mediation system to automate its call detail record (CDR) transmission process. The software, which downloads records in real-time by using the Automatic File Transfer process via an Ethernet Interface Unit, operates in conjunction with Cellular 2000's Nortel GSP switch.
Collector Deluxe provides real-time delivery of call detail records (CDRs) and supports a number of switch types and communication protocols including X.25, TCP/IP, and file transfer protocol (FTP).
"Collector Deluxe is a robust and reliable software application," commented Joe Woolcott, Database Administrator for Cellular 2000. "The system has automated a previously time-consuming process, which translates into savings we can pass along to our customers."
"Cellular 2000 required a mediation system to automate the transmission of its wireless call records," explained David West, Executive Vice President for Equinox. "I am confident that Collector Deluxe will meet the needs of Cellular 2000 as they continue to grow."
