Nashville, TN September 21, 2015 - Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems today announces their attendance and participation in CFCA's Fall Educational Event, which occurs from September 29 to October 1 in Baltimore, MD. This annual event is hosted by CFCA, with sessions being taught by the organization's members and other experts in the fraud management and law enforcement fields. The results of the recently completed 2015 global fraud loss survey will be unveiled at the Fall Educational Event, with sessions and discussions devoted to specific findings from that survey.
Unfortunately, fraud continues to be a lucrative criminal business, affecting all sectors of telecom in every corner of the world, with negative impacts felt by both customers and carriers/operators. CFCA's aim is to provide its members with educational resources as well as catalyze collaboration in the global fight against fraud. And the organization's diversified membership and collaborative spirit give Equinox insight into the current fraud landscape that goes beyond the simple numbers of fraud incidents and fraud losses.
Equinox has been an active member of the Communications Fraud Control Association (CFCA) for nearly 20 years now.
