Nashville, TN March 1, 2016—Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems today announced that they once again plan to attend and participate in CFCA’s Winter Educational Event. This meeting, the first in a lineup of CFCA events for 2016, is slated for March 22 - 24, in San Diego, California. CFCA serves as the event’s host, with an impressive slate of speakers from around the telecom industry and law enforcement/security fields. Sessions center around fraud perpetration methods, strategies for combatting fraud, and ideas for protecting assets, including several case study presentations.
Founded in 1986, Equinox Information Systems is the leading supplier of business assurance solutions in the telecom market today. The company’s professional affiliation with CFCA is an important one, as Equinox’s mission is to be an industry leader in the fight against fraud. That’s but one of the reasons Equinox has been an active member of Communications Fraud Control Association (CFCA) for nearly 20 years. Their efforts at this upcoming event focus on the company’s automated fraud management solution (FMS), Protector.
Many CFCA members are also Equinox customers, so the event is yet another avenue for actively engaging with the company’s customers while gaining additional insight into the revenue protection and fraud vulnerability challenges those customers face in their day-to-day operations. Company representatives Christi Vanoye and Matt Lowe will both attend and participate in the event.
“The Winter Educational Event is my first opportunity to participate in a CFCA event, and I couldn’t be more thrilled,” commented Equinox’s Sales Engineer, Matt Lowe. “Christi and I look forward to seeing many of our customers at the meeting later this month. Equinox is proud to sponsor CFCA’s efforts and will host our traditional Equinox dinner at Rockin’ Baja Lobster Coastal Cantina on Tuesday, March 22nd.”
Since 1986, Equinox has helped telecommunication customers around the globe protect and optimize revenue. During that time, Protector has well earned its reputation as the most reliable and affordable FMS on the market, saving carriers hundreds of millions of dollars in fraud losses annually. Besides fraud management, Equinox also offers solutions in areas critical to profitability and network efficiency, including data mediation, usage analytics, network analysis, revenue/expense management routing assurance, and custom application development.
