Nashville, TN - February 11, 2003 - Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems today announced that Genesis Telecommunications Group (GTG), a wholesale carrier that provides competitively priced, Tier 1 quality direct routes, has licensed ExtractCDR to filter and convert raw switch data and billing records into usable formats.
"We chose to implement ExtractCDR because it is a low-cost, user-friendly system that will grow as we grow," explained Sharon Murphy, VP of Sales for Genesis Telecommunications Group. "Based on our initial evaluation, we expect ExtractCDR to improve our billing and customer service. That was a major factor in the decision to work with Equinox."
ExtractCDR allows carriers to effectively mediate their call detail and billing records (CDRs) amidst the constantly changing nature of downstream systems. The software transforms raw switch data and billing records into usable formats by preparing CDR data for export into most billing systems as well as leading spreadsheet and database applications.
