HTC Selects Equinox Suite Of Software Applications For Mediation And Usage Reporting

Nashville, TN - June 13, 2003 - Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems today announced that HTC (Horry Telephone Cooperative, Inc.) recently licensed a suite of software applications providing a total solution for mediation and call detail record (CDR) administration on HTC's network of Nortel DMS and Siemens EWSD switches.

"Our goal was to identify a company that could deliver a single solution to meet our multiple needs in a reliable, cost-effective fashion," stated Jim Forbes, Director of Billing Services for HTC. Equinox's solution for HTC includes several software applications:

  • Collector Deluxe provides real-time delivery of call detail records (CDRs).
  • ShowCDR provides real-time CDR searching and reporting capabilities.
  • TeleLink filters and converts call data to the appropriate formats for operational support systems.

In addition to these applications, Equinox is developing a customized data warehouse application for HTC. In conjunction with TeleLink, this application builds and maintains a real-time SQL data warehouse which includes an ad hoc report generation tool for CDR and LERG data.
