State of Washington Selects Equinox Application for Telecommunications Network Management

DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION SERVICES (DIS) DEPLOYS MANAGER SOFTWARE SYSTEM

Nashville, TN - April 18, 2003 - Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems today announced that the State of Washington's Department of Information Services (DIS) has purchased multiple licenses of Equinox's Manager software application. Manager allows the State of Washington to document telecommunications network performance and activity in detail by analyzing call detail records (CDRs). The software is deployed across the State of Washington's network of Nortel DMS 250 switches and enables the State of Washington to optimize long distance traffic across its network.

Manager helps telecom providers document network performance by analyzing actual CDRs to provide information unavailable from standard switch statistics. Through automated and user-defined analyses, Manager generates over 30 custom reports for functions, such as network provisioning and optimization, managing reseller accounts, verifying routing and billing, and strategic planning.

"We are pleased to provide the State of Washington with a software application to help them effectively control network costs through intelligent network planning," noted David West, Executive Vice President of Equinox Information Systems. "We look forward to supporting the Department of Information Services (DIS) as they continue to offer new services and serve a growing base of customers."
