NASHVILLE, TN - September 19, 2000 - Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems, a provider of telecom software solutions, today announced that UrbanMedia has contracted to purchase software solutions for advanced traffic analysis from Equinox. The software investment includes the latest version of Equinox's traffic analysis system, Manager 3.3, which will be deployed across UrbanMedia's planned network of Nortel DMS 500 switches. The new system will enable UrbanMedia to optimize local and long distance traffic across their network.

Manager helps carriers document network performance and activity in detail by analyzing actual call detail records and AMA records to provide information not available from switch statistics.
