A classic 1980s U.S. Army advertisement featured a soldier who accomplished an extraordinary number of tasks — parachuting, unloading a vehicle, and driving away — all before most people had even started their workday. The soldier concluded by having coffee with his commanding officer. The message was clear: some people simply get more done before breakfast than others do all day.
That advertisement comes to mind when I think about Equinox's Support Team. The support staff arrives early each morning to review daily status reports generated automatically by Equinox's products — TeleLink and Protector. This proactive monitoring allows the team to identify and address potential issues before they escalate into significant problems for customers.
By 9 a.m., before the company's weekly staff meeting, the Support Team has already verified that all customer installations are operating normally or developed action plans for addressing any concerns. Equinox's strong customer retention can be attributed in large part to the Support Team's quick response and hard work.
The piece concludes fittingly: Support Team members arrive at the Monday morning meeting holding coffee — the same accomplished, confident demeanor as the soldier from the advertisement.
