Last week, Equinox attended the Communications Fraud Control Association (CFCA) Winter Educational Event — held jointly with FIINA — at The Tropicana in Las Vegas, Nevada. The seminar focused on "fraud perpetration methods, strategies for combatting fraud, and ideas for protecting assets."

Equinox has maintained involvement with CFCA for over 25 years and has been a member for almost two decades, sponsoring this particular conference. Our alignment with CFCA reflects the organization's commitment to leadership in fraud prevention across all telecommunications sectors globally. Many of our customers participate in CFCA, making conference attendance valuable for understanding the challenges they face firsthand.

One of our favorite components of every CFCA event is the annual customer dinner, and this year's gathering at Emeril's New Orleans Fish House did not disappoint. Christi Vanoye and David West hosted Equinox customers for an evening of good food and good conversation. These dinners are a highlight of the conference calendar for us — a chance to step away from the formal sessions and simply enjoy time with the people we work alongside throughout the year.

The event also included a special evening at the Mob Museum, hosted in Las Vegas's historic Federal Courthouse building, which provided some genuinely interesting context for a conference focused on fraud prevention. Christi admitted to a little apprehension about the venue beforehand, but reported that the interactive exhibits and courtroom dining experience made it a memorable evening.

We want to thank all of the Equinox customers who joined us in Las Vegas. We already look forward to seeing you at the next CFCA event.
