Our development team has spent nearly three decades listening to hundreds of carriers and transforming that feedback into features and solutions that actually solve real problems. As we celebrate 29 years in the telecom industry, there are currently more innovations in the works now than at any other time in our history.

Here are five major customer-driven innovations we're proud of right now:

1) Case Manager Portal (CMP)

The CMP is a browser-based fraud management tool that enables investigators to check alerts and research call records from any device. Key features include simultaneous CDR searches, direct access to rule definitions, online configuration, native Excel reports, and device-responsive interfaces. It's the kind of tool our customers told us they needed, so we built it.

2) TeleLink 7

Developed to handle massive data volumes — we're talking 5 to 7 billion calls monthly — TeleLink 7 offers browser-based interfaces, ad hoc reporting with over 400 fields, dynamic reference data application, powerful pivoting capabilities, and billion-record-per-day processing speeds. This platform is what the industry demanded as data volumes exploded.

3) Risk Management System (RMS)

The RMS is a TeleLink 7 module that uses rules-based analysis to identify robocalling, traffic pumping, phantom traffic, and Wangiri fraud threats. It addresses revenue assurance challenges that go beyond the traditional fraud management use case, and it came directly from conversations with customers who were facing these exact problems.

4) PRISM Hot List

Our integration with the PRISM international premium rate number database gives carriers a powerful new weapon against revenue share fraud. The data shows this integration can potentially reduce losses by 10 to 20 percent. That is a meaningful impact for any carrier's bottom line.

5) SIP Monitoring

As VoIP networks have grown, so have the vulnerabilities associated with them. Our SIP monitoring capability addresses those vulnerabilities through early fraud detection, providing carriers with visibility into threats that traditional monitoring approaches can miss.

The common thread through all five of these is the same: a customer came to us with a challenge, and we solved it. That is how we innovate at Equinox — not through R&D speculation, but through partnerships with the people who actually use our software every day. We think that's a better way to build software, and the results seem to agree.
