NASHVILLE, TN — March 28, 2003 — Equinox Information Systems announced that Supra Telecom licensed Collector Deluxe and TeleLink to work with Supra's Lucent 5ESS switches for real-time CDR collection and mediation. Collector Deluxe delivers call detail records from the 5ESS switch to a carrier's local area network. TeleLink filters and converts call data to appropriate formats for operational support systems including billing, fraud detection, and network traffic analysis.
Abdul-Hakeem Olasewere, Chief Information Officer at Supra Telecom, stated: "Equinox's reputation in the telecom industry was a key factor" in their selection, noting the software would "simplify our billing processes and to improve overall efficiency" with "reasonable cost" enabling rapid ROI.
TeleLink enables carriers to maximize revenue and reduce operational costs by automating usage data flow and ensuring integrity as information moves from switching platforms to billing and downstream systems. The application replaces internally developed solutions and reduces complexity in multi-vendor networks.
David West, Equinox Executive Vice President, commented: "This agreement demonstrates our commitment to deliver the industry's most cost-effective mediation platform."
