NASHVILLE, TN — September 13, 2004 — Equinox Information Systems announced that XO Communications, Inc. has upgraded to Protector 10, a fraud detection system that identifies instances where customer usage deviates from expected patterns in ways suggesting fraudulent activity.
XO Communications has used Protector since 1996. The upgrade provides advanced profiling, investigation, case management and reporting capabilities to manage fraud across more than thirty Nortel DMS-500 switches.
