NASHVILLE, TN — October 4, 2005 — Equinox Information Systems announced that Eureka Networks, a New York-based communications provider, has implemented Protector 10 for real-time fraud detection. The software will work with Eureka's Lucent 5ESS central office switch.

Protector identifies instances where customer usage patterns suggest fraudulent activity. The system has assisted carriers in preventing fraud losses over the last seventeen years.
