NASHVILLE, TN — January 10, 2006 — Equinox Information Systems announced that Cleartel Communications has licensed and installed its mediation platform. The software — comprising Collector and TeleLink — processes usage records by filtering and converting call data into appropriate formats for billing and operational support systems (OSS).

Cleartel faced integration challenges due to format inconsistencies between Nortel and Siemens switches. According to Scott Gilbert, VP of Information Technology at Cleartel: "The Equinox mediation platform allows us to download usage records in real-time and format the data so that everything is consistent."

Collector retrieves usage records through standard protocols including X.25, TCP/IP, and FTP. TeleLink reduces costs by automating data flow while maintaining integrity as records move from switches to billing and downstream OSS processes.

David West, Equinox Executive Vice President, stated: "We are pleased that Cleartel Communications has selected the Equinox mediation platform to process its usage records."
