NASHVILLE, TN — June 17, 2008 — Equinox Information Systems announced that Sovernet Communications, Vermont's largest locally-owned statewide competitive provider of residential and business telephone and Internet services, has licensed three Equinox software applications: TeleLink, Manager, and TeleScope.
Sovernet selected TeleLink to automate usage record transmission by filtering and converting data for downstream operational support systems. Manager monitors network performance by analyzing both traditional switch and VoIP usage data, while TeleScope examines international traffic from network and financial perspectives.
Brandon Peyton, Director of Operations at Sovernet Communications, stated: "We needed to manage usage records from our Siemens EWSD, MetaSwitch, and Tekelec switches, as well as usage from Global Crossing, Verizon, and MCI." He noted the software provides "a real-time dashboard of our worldwide usage traffic."
