Company Backs Fundraiser For Family Foundation Fund
NASHVILLE, TN—Leading telecom solutions provider Equinox Information Systems reports they are proud to once again sponsor Nashville's premiere Father's Day weekend event. The annual event is planned and coordinated by The Fontanel Mansion in partnership with Family Foundation Fund to benefit participants and programs of the Family Foundation Fund. Equinox's involvement with the Family Foundation Fund dates to 2000. Since that time, Equinox founder and President Wayne Lowe has been an active volunteer and mentor and currently serves the organization weekly. The company is also a long-time sponsor of the annual Father's Day weekend fundraising event, with several Equinox employees competing in the trail race and volunteering on the grounds.
Established 17 years ago by the Family Foundation Fund, the annual 5K run/walk raises awareness about the need of fathers in the lives of at-risk youth in Middle Tennessee. The race was initially held at Crockett Park in Brentwood, TN, before moving to Shelby Bottoms Park in East Nashville the next year. Fontanel became the host site for the "Fatherhood Games" field day beginning in 2013, where it still occurs annually. The event is now dubbed "The 5k @ Fontanel" and "Family Games @ Fontanel".

The event kicks off Saturday, June 16, 2018, with a breakfast and 5K trail run/walk on the grounds of Fontanel.
