Nashville, TN — September 9, 2020 — Equinox Information Systems announced the 22nd annual Protector User Group Meeting (PUGM), scheduled for October 13–14, 2020. Due to COVID-19 concerns, this marks the first year the event will be held entirely online.

The conference attracts fraud analysts, prevention experts, NOC staff, engineers, and billing specialists from across the telecom industry. Equinox anticipates record attendance for the year's meeting. A preparatory "Protector 101" webinar is also being offered on September 23 for first-time attendees and newer community members, covering system capabilities, terminology, and interface features.

The event agenda includes best practices for maximizing ROI from new features, expert guidance on fraud reduction, and a comprehensive session from the development team. Participants will contribute to a "Wish List" for crowdsourcing product feature requests.

"The Protector User Group remains an essential customer function and a highly-anticipated event. The web platform enables real-time interaction while offering scheduling flexibility that in-person events cannot." — Joe Herron, VP of Equinox Support

Protector is the most widely installed fraud management system in the U.S., processing hundreds of millions of call records daily while helping carriers prevent significant fraud losses.
