NASHVILLE, TN — June 27, 2003 — Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems announced that Filer Mutual Telephone Company, an integrated communications provider based in Idaho, has licensed Collector Deluxe. The company selected this mediation system to automate call detail record transmission, with software downloading records in real-time via Automatic File Transfer through an Ethernet Interface Unit, integrating with Filer Mutual's Nortel DMS 100 switch.
John Gunn, COO of Filer Mutual, stated: "Collector Deluxe would be the best choice given the software's advanced features and price point." He noted the system eliminates manual tape pulling and saves both time and money by facilitating mediation and billing integration.
Collector Deluxe delivers real-time CDRs and supports multiple switch types and protocols including X.25, TCP/IP, and FTP.
David West, Executive Vice President for Equinox, commented: "This software purchase represents an exciting step in initiating a strong customer relationship with Filer Mutual."
