NASHVILLE, TN — September 19, 2003 — TCAST Communications licensed two Equinox applications for their Plexus platform, extending their existing suite of mediation, traffic analysis, and telecom fraud management solutions to their legacy switch infrastructure.
Equinox intends to pursue additional software licenses with other carriers using the Plexus platform. The Plexus 9000 switch provides carrier-grade switching with softswitch components including media gateway, controller, and signaling gateway for Class 4/5 PSTN, ATM, and IP networks.
