NASHVILLE, TN — September 1, 2009 — Equinox Information Systems announced that Telekenex, an enterprise voice and data services provider, has licensed Protector 10 software for real-time fraud detection. The solution monitors call and data usage records on Telekenex's VoIP network, specifically integrating with Genband C3 and Broadsoft M6 switches.
The Protector system identifies suspicious patterns by comparing actual customer usage against expected usage patterns. The software has helped carriers avoid millions of dollars in fraud losses over two decades by distinguishing legitimate activity from fraudulent behavior.
Bob Finley, Telekenex's Chief Financial Officer, stated: "Equinox Information Systems is known as a leader in the communications industry for fraud management" and praised the solution for protecting "customers, shareholders, and employees from financial pitfalls."
The agreement encompasses software implementation, training, and one year of maintenance and support services.
