NASHVILLE, TN — May 22, 2013 — Equinox Information Systems announced that HickoryTech Corporation has expanded its existing Equinox deployment by adding routing assurance capabilities through the TeleLink platform. HickoryTech, a Minnesota-based telecommunications provider, had previously implemented TeleLink for revenue assurance functions and chose to extend the relationship with additional routing assurance modules.
The routing assurance capabilities within TeleLink allow carriers to validate that calls are being routed according to contracted agreements, identify routing discrepancies, and ensure that least-cost routing decisions are performing as expected. The platform compares actual call routing against planned routing tables to surface variances that may indicate billing errors or network configuration issues.
Greg Hasse, HickoryTech's Director of Carrier Services, commented on the expansion: "We've had a positive experience with the TeleLink platform for revenue assurance, and adding routing assurance was a natural next step." He noted that having both capabilities within a single integrated platform simplifies operations and provides a more comprehensive view of network performance.
