NASHVILLE, TN — September 16, 2013 — Equinox Information Systems announced that Nex-Tech Wireless, a wireless carrier serving western and central Kansas plus eastern Colorado, purchased additional data licensing for TeleLink, their mediation and revenue assurance solution. The carrier recently deployed an Ericsson switch and required a system to process usage records for their 4G/LTE network to support accurate billing.

Executive Vice President David West noted that "carriers need a mediation platform that can process a wide variety of formats" while standardizing data for billing. He emphasized that TeleLink provides analytics capabilities enabling revenue optimization.

The companies had partnered since 2005, when Nex-Tech Wireless began using Equinox's Collector and TeleLink solutions to convert usage records from multiple network sources. For this project, TeleLink will filter, enrich, and prepare LTE data for the billing system while storing records for statistical analysis and reporting. The solution includes pre-configured reports and ad hoc report generation tools.

Jon Lightle, Director of Finance and Operations at Nex-Tech Wireless, stated: "Based on the success of previous projects, along with the personal customer service, Equinox was the clear choice."
