Just like that, we've flipped the calendar, and another year has begun. Before bidding a final farewell to 2014, it's worth pausing to reflect on some highlights and milestones.
Customer Satisfaction
Equinox has always prioritized taking care of employees, because happy employees deliver exceptional customer service. In 2014, a customer satisfaction survey validated that approach: 97% of respondents said "Yes, absolutely" they would recommend Equinox products, and 87% gave their experience with the Equinox Support Team the highest rating of "Extraordinary." Numbers like those are hard to argue with.
Over 40% of our current customers now deploy both company solutions — Protector and TeleLink — reflecting a deepening of relationships across the customer base. The 16th Protector User Group Meeting in Nashville was the largest on record.
Sales Growth
2014 brought several meaningful milestones on the growth front:
- We added the 350th customer in company history
- Growth expanded across multiple market segments including Cable/MSOs, UCaaS/Hosted VoIP, Wireless carriers, ILECs, and CLECs
- New customers included Mediacom, RingCentral, C Spire, BEK Communications, and others
Happy Employees
The organization we are today was built on a foundation of employee retention and satisfaction. In 2014, 60% of the team had been with the company for 16 years or more. Three employees celebrated their 20-year anniversaries. That kind of continuity doesn't happen by accident — it is the direct result of the values established when Equinox was founded in 1986.
Looking back at 2014, we see evidence of what happens when a company stays true to its founding principles. We look forward to building on that foundation in 2015 and beyond.
