It is always nice to venture to warmer climates when the weather turns cold. Many folks “snowbird” in warmer climates and leave their homes for the winter months. My grandparents do it each year. They spend the cooler months in Florida to enjoy milder temperatures while it gets chilly here in Nashville. I won’t say it gets too cold just because I know elsewhere in the country gets far colder.
In a few weeks, I’ll have the pleasure of heading to Miami. Not specifically to escape to warmer weather but to attend the 16th annual Broadsoft Connections. The theme this year is to “experience what’s next.” I’ll be in Miami from November 12-15th at the Diplomat Beach Resort. This event attracts over 1,300 people and provides great network with Broadsoft analysts, telecom providers from around the world, and members of the extensive Broadsoft partner ecosystem.
Since 1986, Equinox has been helping customers in the telecommunications industry stop fraud, mediate usage data, manage expense, and optimize revenue. Our business assurance solutions, TeleLink and Protector, both support and are interoperable with BroadSoft BroadWorks platform. As an established member of the BroadSoft Xtended Solution Partner program, Equinox is especially excited to return to this year’s user conference.
TeleLink makes usage data actionable by mediating, enriching, and summarizing data from the raw files it collects. TeleLink stores this data for reporting and in-depth analysis, while also transforming it for delivery to downstream operational and business support systems. Protector is an automated fraud management system that monitors call and data usage records for real-time fraud detection, which includes immediate notification of suspicious events, case investigation tools, and the ability to shut down unwanted activity at the switch.
I’m excited to once again attend BroadSoft Connections. It is a great opportunity to see what’s going to happen next for them as a company since recently being acquired by Cisco last year. It’ll also be great to see what new innovations they’ve made since last year’s conference. The highlight for me, as always, is to see our customers and to meet new people that would benefit from our industry-leading solutions. Tangentially, yes, the weather will be an awesome benefit. I look forward to seeing you in sunny Miami!
