I began leading the Equinox Support team the fall of 2020 when Joe Herron retired. These last two years have shown me that Equinox has the best customers, and they love our support! I have had numerous conversations with customers just like you who express their appreciation and tell us how much our support means. I want to thank you for the kind words and remind you that my team and I are happy to help anytime.
I am writing this blog to highlight a few things happening around Equinox.
Protector 10 has helped stop fraud over the last 20+ years and done an amazing job! However, technological constraints often kept Equinox from incorporating many requested features into the application. That’s exactly why Protector 11 was built as a new system from the ground up to take fraud protection into the future. Over the last year, Equinox has installed the new Protector 11 application for a few customers. We also distributed a Lifecycle Support Policy. If you haven’t received it, please let me know, and I will send you a copy. That bulletin explains that Windows Server 2019 and SQL Server 2019 are the last OS and SQL versions under which Protector 10 will be supported. If your company is looking to invest in infrastructure, please reach out to us so we can help you guide that server upgrade discussion and hopefully roll out Protector 11 as part of that upgrade.
On another note, the TeleLink user group in April was a great success! It was fantastic to meet in person again. The discussion and personal interactions were priceless. We simply can’t wait to host the Protector user group this fall in Nashville (October 3 - 5). Coming to the user group in person provides SO much benefit to you and your company. Personally, I am normally hesitant to sign up for webinars, conferences, or other things to add to my calendar. However, when I get there and participate in the event, I am always glad that I did. You will be too! Did I mention that the Protector user group is FREE for all member of the Equinox community, is in Nashville, includes expert training/educational sessions, and as always, has lots of great food!?
I hope to see you in Nashville come October! See the official Protector User Group Meeting event page for agenda and accommodation details or go directly to the registration site.
