NASHVILLE, TN — December 15, 2010 — Armstrong Telecommunications, operating across Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Kentucky, and New York, has licensed TeleLink — a mediation and revenue assurance platform from Equinox Information Systems — to enhance its network operations.

The software collects, stores, analyzes, and reports usage data from various network switches and external sources, including Siemens DCO and Cisco BTS platforms. For Armstrong, the system was customized to include network reporting, usage rating, and call matching capabilities.

Tom Wilson, Director of Telecom Traffic Management at Armstrong, noted that his previous experience with Equinox solutions gave him confidence in their ability. He explained that TeleLink enables "sophisticated reporting and analysis on our call detail record (CDR) usage" and facilitates matching usage data from their network with EMI data from trading partners.

David West, Equinox Executive Vice President, emphasized the transformative impact, stating that TeleLink provides carriers "access to a data warehouse of information about their network activity." He highlighted its utility in comparing switch usage to CABS records and converting data to EMI format for billing systems.
