NASHVILLE, TN — December 28, 2010 — Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems announced that I WIRELESS, a partnership between T-Mobile USA and Iowa Network Services, has licensed TeleLink mediation software. The software mediates records from the Nokia wireless switch and PacketCore data network to a customer billing system.

TeleLink automates the flow and ensures the integrity of usage data traveling to billing and other downstream OSS processes. For I WIRELESS, TeleLink was customized with business rules that filter out pre-paid customer usage data, delivering only post-paid customer usage traffic to the billing system.

Carey Stover, Billing and Receivables Director at I WIRELESS, stated: "We are pleased with Equinox Information Systems' willingness to work with us to create the specific mediation and reporting tools that we need. In addition to billing facilitation, TeleLink will give us the ability to quickly identify and route non-customer roaming traffic and forward it to the Near Real-Time Roaming Data Exchange (NRTRDE)."

David West, Equinox Executive Vice President, explained: "TeleLink is a flexible mediation platform that allows telcos to apply business rules, enrich, filter, convert, and deliver usage data to billing and other OSS systems in the appropriate format. Carriers like I WIRELESS need an integrated, flexible system that can adapt and grow to support numerous management and reporting systems."
