NASHVILLE, TN — October 13, 2015 — Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems announced that FairPoint Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: FRP), a leading provider of advanced communications technology in northern New England, recently expanded licensing for the TeleLink usage analytics solution to include reports complying with FCC rural call completion reporting requirements.
The TeleLink platform enables carriers to access usage data in actionable formats, supporting in-depth analysis of individual events and network traffic trends. FairPoint has utilized TeleLink since 2013 for various ad hoc reports, including subpoena data, and will now generate FCC-required rural call reports directly from the platform.
Equinox has served as FairPoint's trusted vendor since 2008, initially deploying the Protector fraud management system. When FairPoint sought to replace its reporting system in 2013, it licensed TeleLink for its data retrieval, aggregation, summarization, and reporting capabilities. The tool's built-in reporting and centralized data warehouse increased operational efficiency. Upon facing FCC compliance needs, FairPoint engaged Equinox to develop the required rural completion statistics reports.
Tom Nolting, Vice President of Financial Operations at FairPoint Communications, stated: "we turned to their team first for an advanced reporting solution," based on prior positive experiences with Equinox's implementation approach and cost-effectiveness.
David West, Equinox Executive Vice President, commented: "we take great pride in our reputation, which is built on a foundation of repeatedly exceeding customer expectations."
