Protector User Group Meeting
November 16-18, 2015
WHAT
The 2015 Protector User Group Meeting (UGM) is set for November 16-18 (Monday through Wednesday). This event is tailored especially for Equinox fraud management customers, giving you an opportunity to:
- Participate in a training workshop led by Implementation Manager, Christi Vanoye;
- Learn about recent enhancements that can help you reduce your fraud losses;
- Get tips and techniques on fraud management and case investigation;
- Network with other Protector users;
- Provide input on future Protector enhancements; and
- Earn educational credits to qualify for CFCA’s Certified Communications Security Professional (CCSP) designation if you are a CFCA member.

WHERE
All User Group Meeting sessions take place at the Music City Center, which is located at 201 5th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203, (615) 401-1400.
WHO
Any user currently under maintenance can attend the meeting FREE OF CHARGE. The cost is $1,295 per person for all other attendees. Seating is limited, so be sure to register as soon as possible1. WHEN
Please note that preconference training is included as part of this year’s User Group Meeting:
- Monday November 16: The event kicks off with a half-day training session at the Music City Center. Lunch is provided at 12:00 pm, with training from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Please plan to arrive at the Nashville airport by 11:00 am CST if you are participating in the half-day training.
- Tuesday November 17: This day begins at 9:00 am with continental breakfast at the Music City Center. Educational and networking sessions occur until 4:30. Lunch is included during the sessions. Equinox also provides dinner on Tuesday night.
- Wednesday November 18: The final day starts with a 9:00 am breakfast at Music City Center and has sessions running until noon. Lunch is available for those who have later flights.

HOW TO GET TO THE UGM EACH DAY
Equinox provides shuttle service Monday from the airport to the Music City Center as well as to the host hotel at the conclusion of training. Shuttle service is provided Tuesday morning from the host hotel to the Music City Center, as well as to dinner on Tuesday evening. On Wednesday, Equinox provides transportation from the host hotel to the Music City Center and to the airport at the event’s end. Equinox does not provide shuttle service to/from hotels other than the host hotel.
Participants are responsible for their own travel and hotel costs.
WHAT’S NEW
This year’s event includes all the most popular PUGM elements but also touts several exciting changes and additions, including:

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 16
The UGM event once again includes an optional, preconference workshop this first afternoon. This half-day training session is led by Implementation Manager, Christi Vanoye, and occurs at the Music City Center. Lunch is provided at 12:00, with training from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Topics planned for the preconference workshop:
- Tuning Protector to avoid false alarms and repeat violations;
- Properly maintaining Protector (focus on Regions/Rates, Hot List, CDR Rules).
We gladly welcome suggestions for topics to cover during the preconference workshop.
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17
This day begins at 9:00 am with continental breakfast at the Music City Center. Educational and networking sessions occur until 4:30. Planned topics include: What’s New in Protector, Customer Wish List, and Case Studies. Lunch is included in the day’s events and takes place at 12:00. Shuttle service is provided Tuesday morning from the host hotel to Equinox, with a return to the hotel at the day’s conclusion. After a respite, Equinox also provides dinner out on Tuesday night. Shuttle service is provided for dinner on Tuesday evening.
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18
The final day starts at 9:00 am at the Music City Center with breakfast and has sessions running until noon. Planned topics include: Equinox Customer Support, What’s Next in Protector, and more. Shuttle service is provided Wednesday morning from the host hotel to Equinox, as well as airport drop off at the conclusion of the event. Lunch is available for those who have later flights.
1 Event registration deadline is November 2, 2015. Registrations received after this date incur a $250 late fee.
