(NASHVILLE, TN) February 3, 2023 — Market-leading telecom solutions supplier Equinox Information Systems today shared details of their latest mediation and revenue assurance platform called TeleLink 11. The TeleLink brand is not new to the nearly 40 telecom companies where it’s currently deployed. And while more than a dozen of those providers have already licensed TeleLink 11, the new product’s launch was eclipsed by the challenges so many in the industry faced during or in the aftermath of the Covid pandemic. As a new year begins, Equinox is delighted to officially provide details for the latest iteration of their powerhouse platform.
Equinox unveiled the initial TeleLink platform over 20 years ago. Before it was commercially available as a consolidated platform, the company had widely deployed individual custom coded components per installation. Working with those customers along with prospective users, Equinox identified the features that helped companies consistently increase profitability and better manage expense. That compilation formed the original TeleLink application. Since then, every iteration of the product existed for the sole purpose of solving business assurance challenges by making usage data actionable.
To create TeleLink 11, Equinox leveraged the market-proven features available in earlier releases of the mediation and revenue assurance platform, added an extremely powerful new data viewer, increased the usability and value of the reporting module, streamlined the configuration area, eliminated clutter, and packaged the application in a sleek new interface. The result: visual enhancements in every area of the product, an improved user experience across the board, and significantly advanced analytic and investigative opportunities. These features are all built on TeleLink’s extensible architecture to support customers’ growth and future industry changes.
“TeleLink 11 encapsulates the most powerful money-saving and revenue-boosting features in a fresh new streamlined interface,” explained Equinox CEO and founder Byron Middendorf. “Our work with hundreds of companies across all segments of telecom gave us the perspective necessary to reenvision and offer an even more valuable set of tools for protecting and optimizing revenue. With our rich history and the recent technological innovations of Protector 11 and TeleLink 11, Equinox’s future is bright!”
TeleLink’s robust mediation engine standardizes disparate records, compiles a data warehouse, provides in-depth searching capabilities, and delivers the formatted data to other businesses and backend systems. Its powerful new warehouse search and existing report engine provide unparalleled access to the data it captures, resulting in many additional revenue, expense, and network management benefits.
Since 1986, Equinox has helped telecom customers around the world address profitability and network efficiency issues. Currently processing over 2 billion customer records a day, Equinox allows companies in all telecom sectors to protect and optimize their revenue. Besides fraud management, Equinox also offers data mediation, usage analytics, revenue/ expense management, routing assurance, network analysis, and custom application development. The company currently serves cable/MSOs, wireless, wireline, rural independent, CLEC, UCaaS/hosted VoIP, wholesale, and conference calling providers.
