Matt Lowe describes attending IDI Billing Solutions' annual Users Conference in upstate New York. Though Equinox Information Systems isn't an IDI customer, the companies maintain a strong partnership spanning over two decades, sharing many clients.
TeleLink, Equinox's mediation platform, processes call detail records across carrier networks regardless of switch format, generating billable output compatible with IDI's CostGuard billing systems. As Lowe explains, this capability "makes billing much easier and provides a great auditing/reporting function for the carrier to ensure accurate billing."
Eight Equinox customers attended the conference, representing more than half the conference attendees. Lowe valued the opportunity to observe a well-executed industry event while gaining market insights.
The experience reinforced a truth that Equinox has long embraced: "Nothing can replace the face-to-face time spent at this event and others." The conference timing also aligned well with Equinox's own user group meetings — TeleLink in the spring and Protector in the fall.
