An event like the TeleLink Users Group Meeting (TUGM) takes a lot of planning. When we initially scheduled the event, we didn’t know the NFL would be selecting Nashville to host one of its largest annual events (the NFL draft) on the same week. We knew it would be a challenge. Ultimately, we decided to stick with our original dates. This meant we had to scour venues and restaurants for our event as they quickly booked up for draft parties.
The NFL draft is a very important event for the league and its teams. The draft gives each team the opportunity to load up on new talent in hopes of improving for the upcoming season. Teams go to great lengths to insure they make the correct selection—knowing it could make or break the future of their franchise. The earlier a player is selected in the draft, the more pressure for that player to perform. First round picks are expected to be the face of the franchise, build a great relationship with fans, and make an immediate impact on the field.
Much like each NFL team, our customers vet their options for mediation and network reporting tools in the market and make a decision based on what is best for their company. When they select a vendor, they expect to build a great relationship to help ensure the purchase yields a great value. The product must deliver real results and make an impact on the bottom line.
The TUGM embodies all of these values in a single event. Each attendee was there because his or her company had selected Equinox to deploy TeleLink. But more importantly, each one chose to foster not simply a vendor relationship but one of true partnership. TeleLink makes an immediate impact to help carriers mediate data for billing, make rating and routing decisions to bolster their bottom line, and deliver robust reporting capabilities.
Each year, I enjoy meeting customers for the first time that I’ve only previously communicated with via phone or email. I also enjoy catching up with friends that I see year after year. I can’t stress enough how vital that relationship is between Equinox and our customers. We love being the trusted partner to work with each customer to help them improve their business, and we enjoy helping them leverage the multiple benefits the TeleLink tool offers.
As always, we took a group photo to commemorate the event. We also captured many of the highlights for the entire event and saved them in a photo gallery that you can view.
If you weren’t able to make it to the event this year, I greatly encourage you to join us next year. Not only will you learn new tips and tricks about TeleLink, but you’ll get a chance to build your relationship with the Equinox sales, support, and development team. The event offers you a complete perspective of the purpose behind the application. Participation in the user group also has important benefits as you interact and build relationships with other customers. You’ll see how others use TeleLink and learn time-saving tips to help in your job.
We thank all of our customers for selecting TeleLink and working with us to build a partnership that yields immediate and long-lasting benefits for their company, network, and bottom line. We’ll see you next time!
