The Holidays—a Time for Greetings and a New Tutorial

It’s that time of year again!

It is time to laugh, love, and share; it’s the holidays!

During this special time of year, I want to share that I am very thankful for you. I first took over as head of the Equinox Support department just after Thanksgiving 2020, and it has been one crazy year for sure. The holiday season has me reflecting on the past year of laughing, crying, and coming closer with my coworkers than ever in my last 10 years at Equinox.

As the new director of Equinox Support my goal is to provide you with all of the tools you need for our applications. To that end, we introduced two new tutorials at the Protector User Group Meeting this year. These how-to videos provide instructions for responding to CDR inactivity alerts and creating CDR rules. Please go take a look at them if you haven’t already. The videos are both under 5 minutes long and are located here. Protector specialists Mitch and Alex created these educational resources for you.

At the Protector User Group Meeting, we asked for new tutorial ideas, and we received several great ideas from you. I’m pleased to announce we have our next tutorial video ready just in time for the holidays. In fact, the new tutorial video covers how to set up Holidays in Protector! About the Author

In his first Equinox role as a TeleLink quality assurance tester, Chris Lowe helped improve the company’s testing and installation procedures. In late 2020, Chris moved into the role of Director, Equinox Support. In that capacity, he is responsible for managing application testing efforts and overseeing all support services, including the help desk and product documentation. Chris and his wife Jessica have 2 boys, 1 girl, and 2 dogs. A former college baseball standout, Chris loves sports and continues to play them as often as possible. Chris is committed to fitness, enjoys being active and outdoors, and especially relishes coaching his sons’ baseball team.
