Gratitude and Hope

David West heads up all sales and marketing initiatives for Equinox Information Systems. He enjoys talking with folks in every sector of telecom and is passionate about helping companies find solutions for the business assurance challenges they face.

Last year I closed my annual recap with an expression of hope that 2022 would be a better year for all of us. From conversations with coworkers and customers, it seems that for many it was. Personally, the headlines in my news feed seemed less negative, or at least less demanding of my attention. Best of all, 2022 marked a return to "normal" in many ways, including resuming travel and spending more time with friends and family.

And so, I start this new year with more optimism than I felt a year ago and with gratitude for the good things that 2022 brought to us at Equinox, including:

  • In-Person User Group Meetings. For the first time since 2019 Equinox hosted both TeleLink and Protector user group meetings in person. It was great to see so many old friends and to make new ones.

  • Industry Leadership Opportunities. Equinox staff led or participated in industry panels for CFCA, ITW, and the Somos Summit.

  • Upgrades. Protector 11 went live with 15 customers upgrading. We also announced the release of TeleLink 11 and already have eight customers upgrading.

  • Renewed Growth. 2022 revenue grew by more than any other year in our history, fueled by upgrades, extensions, and new customers, including: Aureon, ALLO, C3ntro, Cox, Intrado, RingCentral, United Wireless, and Windstream.

2023 looks to be busy for all of us Equinox as we upgrade more customers and expand the features of Protector 11 and TeleLink 11. We are grateful for the work and most of all, for the friendships we share with each other and our customers.

Here's hoping for a great 2023!
