The P11 Days of Christmas

Amy Oldham is part of the Equinox Support team and enjoys providing customers with the educational and instructional resources they need to fully leverage all the benefits and features in Protector and TeleLink.

“And a partridge in a pear tree.” Most everyone is familiar with this line as well as The Twelve Days of Christmas traditional holiday carol that contains it. When radio stations and streaming services start playing that song, it signals colder weather, approaching holidays, as well as the end of the calendar year. We aren’t going to sing or play that song; instead, we have something special for you in the form of the P11 days of Christmas.

As we look back on this year, Equinox is grateful for oh so many reasons. We’ve got the greatest customers on the planet! We’ve assembled an amazing team to serve those customers. We resumed in-person user groups. And we successfully rolled out a completely new, next generation version of our fraud management system (FMS) called Protector 11 (also known as P11).

Because P11 is still so new and is rewritten from the ground up (rather than being an upgrade added to the existing P10 version), the Support team created a slew of new educational resources to acclimate you to the new interface and help you locate the most-frequently used features in the system. After determining the most-needed topics for this first batch of videos, the team collectively developed and created them. We are pleased to present you with tutorials for these 11 functional areas of P11:

  •  Understanding Your Profile
  •  Setting User Security
  •  Setting Role Security
  •  Setting Group Security
  •  Naming / Organizing Cases
  •  Creating Case Tree Views
  •  Searching the Warehouse
  •  Using Warehouse Templates
  •  Copying and Moving Report Templates
  •  Creating Report Templates
  •  Scheduling Reports

To check out the 11 new P11 tutorials, go to www.equinoxis.com/login.php. (It takes less than a minute to register the very first time you use the site, and your credentials are good for subsequent visits to the site.)

This type of educational resource is not new—Equinox Support introduced tutorials at the tail end of 2021 in response to customers’ requests. Tutorials are short how-to videos that explain and demonstrate common Protector tasks. While we still record and publish training webinars, tutorials serve a different purpose. Clocking in around 2 minutes each, tutorials focus on a singular feature or function in the application, so you can find the help you need quickly and get on with the task at hand. You can easily share tutorials with new system users or members of management who interact with only limited areas of the application. And they are a great way to refresh yourself on tasks that you perform infrequently, for example configuration and setup options.

As always, Equinox Support’s mission is to meet and exceed expectations by providing the highest level of service to customers and coworkers alike. If you have questions about the new tutorials or need assistance with any aspect of Protector 11, email Support@Equinoxis.com or call (615) 612-1225 Monday—Friday from 7:30 to 5:00 (Central). We’re here to help! P.S., we’d love to hear your ideas for future tutorials, too.

Warmest wishes from the entire Equinox Support team for a festive, joyous holiday season!
