Equinox Backs First Fraud Educational Event In 2019

Company Supports and Participates in CFCA’s Efforts to Improve Fraud Management

NASHVILLE, TN—January 28, 2019—Industry leading fraud management solutions provider Equinox Information Systems today announced their plans to attend and sponsor the Communications Fraud Control Association (CFCA) Winter Educational Event next month. Set for February 26-28 at the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort in South Carolina, this meeting is the first in CFCA’s 2019 lineup. In their mission to better equip members for dealing with the ever-evolving threat of fraud, CFCA’s agenda for the event includes sessions on toll-free traffic pumping, phone phreaking, IRSF, rural call completion, account takeover and identify theft, VoIP fraud, knowledge networks, and a review of the past ten years’ fraud loss trends. Speakers hail from all segments of the telecom and securities industries.

“CFCA is set to kick off another great year of educational and networking programs. We have a fantastic lineup of speakers, panelists, and discussions planned for the first meeting, which we’re hosting in Hilton Head, South Carolina,” commented CFCA Vice President, Stacy Graham. “We are thrilled to have Equinox once again support CFCA’s efforts to provide enlightening programs for our members, and we look forward to them participating in the event.”

Equinox has been an active member and sponsor of CFCA for 22 years. Implementation and training specialist Christi Vanoye will be on hand during the entire event. As a Protector fraud management solution (FMS) expert, her focus will be identifying how customers can use FMS tools to best address the fraud challenges currently facing the telecom industry.

“I am excited to be a part of CFCA’s 2019 winter educational event next month,” explained Equinox’s Training and Implementation Manager, Christi Vanoye. “Not only will I get to delve into the challenges of telecom fraud with several of our customers, but I will also have the pleasure of hosting them at the traditional Equinox dinner on Tuesday, February 26. As an added bonus, all this takes place in beautiful Hilton Head, South Carolina.”
