Equinox Gears Up For CFCA's #GoToKnow Fall Educational Event

Company Sponsors and Participates in Fraud Prevention, Risk Management Meeting

NASHVILLE, TN—September 18, 2019—Leading fraud management solutions (FMS) provider Equinox Information Systems is set to sponsor and participate in the final Communications Fraud Control Association (CFCA) educational event of the year. CFCA will host the three-day gathering at the El Conquistador in Tucson, AZ from October 15 to 17, 2019. With sessions on the role of machine learning in fraud management and risk analysis, SMS messaging fraud types, STIR/SHAKEN policies, and a segment dedicated to reviewing the latest fraud loss survey results, the event attracts law enforcement professionals, domain experts, and representatives from communications providers around the world. The event kicks off with a workshop focusing on how CFCA benefits the industry and its members.

“It’s been another exciting year for CFCA. In addition to hosting our 34th annual meeting this summer, we’ve gained momentum on several educational initiatives, grown our social media following, and have compiled a new global fraud loss survey,” explained CFCA Vice President, Stacy Graham. “CFCA is grateful for Equinox who not only sponsors our programs but who also contributes to their success by always participating in our educational events.”

Equinox’s professional affiliation and sponsorship of CFCA began over two decades again. As an industry leader in the fight against telecom fraud, Equinox is actively involved in multiple CFCA events each year. Many CFCA members are also Equinox customers who use the Protector automated FMS to safeguard their networks and reduce financial exposure caused fraudulent events. Equinox implementation and training specialist Christi Vanoye will attend the upcoming event, with the goal of helping customers apply best practices and FMS tools to protect their revenue.

“Equinox focuses on customers by listening to them—every product enhancement and new feature is based on their input—and maintaining personal connections with them. Not only is CFCA’s fall educational event a great way for me to do both things, but it’s also a wonderful opportunity to collaborate on the latest fraud mitigation and loss prevention strategies,” explained Equinox’s Implementation Manager, Christi Vanoye. “Equinox is proud to sponsor the upcoming meeting and looks forward to hosting the traditional Equinox dinner Tuesday, October 15.”
