Equinox Backs CFCA's Fraud Educational Event In Las Vegas

Company Sponsors Program to Advance Fraud Management Efforts and Awareness

NASHVILLE, TN—January 28, 2020—Industry leading fraud management solutions provider Equinox Information Systems is pleased to once again sponsor and participate in Communications Fraud Control Association’s (CFCA) winter educational event next month. This is CFCA’s first North American education program of the year and it is set for February 25th to 27th at the Las Vegas Planet Hollywood. The conference lineup includes sessions on reinventing fraud and security for emerging technologies, dealing with IoT in the changing fraud management landscape, discussing the latest fraud loss survey results, knowledge networks, and collaborating with experts from the telecom and securities industries.

“This is an exciting time for CFCA…in addition to kicking off a new round of marketing initiatives and gearing up for the winter educational event in Las Vegas, we are also celebrating our 35th anniversary this year! Since 1985, CFCA’s membership has grown to include telecom companies, law enforcement agencies, operators, and vendors from around the world. We are proud to offer educational programs that help those members remain profitable while battling the latest fraud challenges,” explained CFCA Vice President, Stacy Graham. “These programs wouldn’t be possible without our sponsors. We are grateful for Equinox’s longtime support of CFCA’s efforts and are thrilled they can participate in next month’s event.”

Equinox has been a participating member and sponsor of CFCA for 23 years. Their fraud management expert Christi Vanoye will represent the company and attend the Las Vegas event. As a Protector fraud management solution (FMS) specialist, her focus will be working with customers to help them effectively combat fraud, including identifying ways to further leverage the FMS’s fraud-fighting tools. Per tradition, Christi will host an Equinox customer dinner on Tuesday, February 25.

“Quite a few of our customers are also CFCA members, so these educational conferences are extremely beneficial,” commented Equinox’s Training and Implementation Manager, Christi Vanoye. “Sharing this experience with our customers allows me to help them more quickly and efficiently adopt new strategies and mitigation measures from the conference into the fraud management efforts fueled by Protector. Plus, it’s always a treat to connect with customers at the Equinox dinner.”
