Comporium Depends On Equinox Information Systems Again

Licenses TeleLink Mediation And Revenue Assurance Platform

(NASHVILLE, TN) August 3, 2020—Equinox Information Systems, a leader in the telecom business assurance solutions market, reports that Comporium, one of the largest telecom providers in the nation, has licensed the TeleLink application to mediate records from multiple different network sources for delivery to their end user billing and carrier access billing systems. As TeleLink processes these records, it verifies all records and alerts of any anomalies. Afterward, it compiles a searchable data warehouse, which allows further analysis, including bill validation and revenue optimization opportunities.

Currently processing over 2 billion customer records a day, Equinox has helped companies in all telecom sectors protect and optimize their revenue. The two companies established a relationship in early 2016 when Comporium selected Equinox to implement and deploy a fraud management system. The Protector application automatically monitors call and usage records to detect unwanted events, with the ability to shut down activity at the switch or tear down active calls. Earlier this year, Comporium elected to add the web portal module to that system, and soon thereafter turned to Equinox to streamline and automate record mediation for the most recent project.

“Comporium aims to make life easier for our customers by providing technologically advanced solutions as well as superior customer service and unsurpassed value,” explained Greg Donnelly, Comporium Senior Vice President and CIO. “Equinox contributes to our continued success in this mission by supplying easy-to-use solutions that affordably and efficiently tackle telecom issues. And their support team is exceptional.”

“We think the primary reason Comporium selected Equinox for their initial project is recognizing that we share the same commitment to exceeding customer expectations and offering exceptional value that they do,” commented Equinox Executive Vice President, David West. “We appreciate the trust we’ve established with Comporium and are honored they relied on us for this latest project.”
