(NASHVILLE, TN) July 2, 2019—Equinox Information Systems, a leader in the telecom business assurance solutions market, announced today that David Bastin is the newest member of the company’s senior management team. In his newly appointed role as Vice President of Software Engineering, Bastin serves as the lead architect for all new software products as well as leading all development for the company’s Microsoft SQL Server project code.
Bastin joined Equinox in 1994 after college, so his knowledge and abilities have grown in parallel with the telecom industry and the company, leading to his current role as VP of Software Engineering. In his 25-year career with Equinox, Bastin has directed or been directly involved in virtually every product the company has offered. As a mainstay at Equinox’s two annual user group meetings—TeleLink each spring and Protector in the fall—Bastin is also closely engaged with customers to ensure the company’s solutions target their pain points and “wish list” items. Prior to his role as VP, he was one of the primary architects responsible for expanding TeleLink’s capabilities to process more than a billion records a day.

Bastin graduated from Lipscomb University in 1994 with a degree in Computer Science before beginning his career at Equinox Information Systems. Originally hailing from Philadelphia, he currently resides in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, with his wife Carinda and daughter Ainsley.
