Chris Lowe Named Director, Equinox Support

(NASHVILLE, TN) December 9, 2020 — Equinox Information Systems, a leader in the telecom business assurance solutions market is pleased to name Chris Lowe as the company’s Director, Equinox Support. Serving in this new capacity allows Lowe to apply the process knowledge and experience he’s gained in his role of quality assurance testing to identify potential improvements that keep pace with the rapidly evolving technology and telecom industries.

Lowe’s recent promotion to Director of the Equinox Support team was announced in conjunction with Joe Herron’s retirement on November 30. Equinox values customer relationships above all else, so this transition was years in the making. In fact, in 2018, Herron appointed Lowe as his successor, began working more closely with him on daily operations, and relied on him to help further organize and streamline product installation and delivery. So, for the last two years of Herron’s 24-year stint at Equinox, Lowe worked with him learning what it takes to spearhead support for hundreds of customers around the world. As a result, customers can expect to receive the same exceptional attention and continuity of service to which they have become accustomed.

One of my long-range plans as I delve into this role is to use the process knowledge and experience I’ve gained in my role as quality assurance tester to identify and implement improvements, particularly in the arena of customer communications.”

Lowe earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Trevecca Nazarene University (TNU) in 2009. And then in 2011, while finishing his MBA from TNU, he began his career at Equinox as a software quality assurance (QA) tester for the TeleLink platform. Beyond the primary responsibility of ensuring the system exceeded all quality standards, he also helped improve the testing, release, and installation cycle by applying repeatable, measurable processes. The changes helped expedite customer updates and provide more consistent version tracking.
